About Us
An Organic Approach to Design

It’s the little things—the feel of the paper, the simplicity of design, capturing a gesture with a clean line—that speaks volumes.
From tailored messaging and poignant advertising to eye-catching packaging and publications, my process begins by listening to the client. Hearing the words they use to describe themselves and their needs underscores every aspect of my work.
In the early conceptual stage of design, I often sketch out projects freehand. This organic style of drafting ideas, which I started in college back when graphic designers did things by hand, I believe is intrinsic to developing fresh solutions that honor the unique qualities of each project.
Clients come first; deadlines are paramount. I will never promise something I can’t deliver. I have built my company on individual service, communication, and trust.

Guiding Principles
I’m a Colorado native with 35 years’ experience creating corporate communications and identity branding. Some of my favorite projects have been the most perplexing because they call for intricate designs and unusual materials and construction. Many clients have come to me for help visualizing solutions to problems that require spatial thinking and three-dimensional answers.
A guiding principle in my work and life can be summed up in the Japanese term, Sekkei, meaning “vision, design, realize.” I see this as taking a hands-on approach to all facets of a project. In so doing, I have, over the years, assembled an extensive network of reliable fellow craftspeople, printers, and presses that I collaborate with to carry projects to fruition.
Some of my corporate clients include Nordstrom’s, Kaiser Permanente, and Arrow Electronics, as well as many national art exhibitions, fine artists, and independent book publishers.
